Mira Cottage is located on the Mira River, a quiet river seascape. The next town is Marion Bridge with a gas station, a convenience store, the post office and can be reached in 5 minutes. The closest city is Sydney with an old town centre, shopping malls, restaurants, movie theatres, a harbour, the hospital and it is only 15 minutes away. Many vacationers are more than impressed by the beauty of Cape Breton, the tranquility it radiates, the outstanding recreational value and the very relaxed way of life here on the island.

Mira Cottage is designed as an ideal vacation home for 2 persons. The first floor offers all you need for a perfect stay, to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Mira River. The to the cottage attached gazebo gives you the comfort of enjoying a nice breakfast in the morning, read a book or watching the sun going down on Juniper Mountain.

For 3 to 4 persons the cottage includes a walk-out basement which provides a second bedroom with two queen size beds, own bathroom and direct access to the ground floor deck.

Driving directions to property: From the Canso Causeway to Port Hawkesbury take Hwy 104 towards St. Peter´s, exiting at Exit 44 to Cleveland. Turn left, following the Lower River Road 5.5 km - you will see our blue B&B sign on the right hand side. You can also take NS Highway 4 and travel 11.5 km towards Cleveland, turning right onto Lower River Road. Our B&B is 1.7 km up the road - you will see our blue B&B sign on the left hand side.

Come from Away B&B Inn is an historic home nestled on the banks of the Annapolis Basin and Digby Harbour. The Annapolis Basin is part of the Bay of Fundy, which is home to some of the highest tides in the world!

Like the tide, which rises and falls about an inch a minute, life in our backyard is unhurried. Our comfortably appointed rooms help you to slow down and relax. From the garden, or the decks outside, watch the sun rise over the Annapolis Basin and the sun set over Digby Neck and the North Mountain. Take a walk around the fishing village of Digby and taste our world-famous scallops at one of our many restaurants. Other area attractions include unique shops, historic sites, whale watching, parks, hiking trails, Upper Clements Theme Park, and a local championship golf course.
