The perfect relaxing getaway nestled on the classic Lahave river just a few minutes from Old Town Lunenburg. This century-old former sea captain's house is a stunning example of Nova Scotia architecture.

When you enter you are welcomed with a view of rich Brazilian oak and birch hardwood flooring as well as an original grand staircase. With waterfront property you can expect to relax and watch sailboats pass by and eagles and hawks soar through the sky, or watch for some seals to pop up and say hi! This amazing home is ideally located 15 minutes away from Lunenburg (known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), two minutes from the Lahave Ferry where you are close to many tourist attractions. A car or bike are necessary for getting around.  

This house has been completely restored as a heritage Nova Scotian home decorated with an elegance and style showcasing its unique character and charm. We have graciously been awarded a 4.5-star rating with Canada Select and are proud to be recognized as a licensed Bed and Breakfast within the province of Nova Scotia. We offer our guests 3 bedrooms with king or queen-size beds with each have a clean and private newly renovated bathroom. All the rooms are air-conditioned as well as being equipped with ceiling fans.

Included for our guests is cable television, netflix, wireless internet, bath robes, shampoo and conditioner, modern amenities, and 24-hour access to coffee and tea. A stay at Toba's Bed and Breakfast comes complete with a home-cooked full breakfast. Keep in mind one can always enjoy a morning cup of coffee outside on our deck overlooking the scenic waterfront views. Pets: Although the mother-daughter owners are crazy animal lovers, our premises are pet-free from guests. We have two rescue dogs on property, you may not see them but you may hear the odd bark. There is ample parking available for our guests, please park on the right side of the driveway.
