Hedley House by the Sea is a tranquil four-acre seaside property located in Smith’s Cove in the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region. Hedley House is situated on four acres of lawns and gorgeous flower gardens and 1200 feet of sandy tidal beach frontage.
 
Our comfortable modern guest rooms feature private decks overlooking the beautiful Bay of Fundy. Each deck has Adirondack chairs, allowing the sea to be a part of every room – a great spot to sit back, relax and enjoy our glorious sunsets! Easily accessible stairs lead down to the beach where our guests can swim or take a stroll and gather sea glass and shells. Smith’s Cove can be found on the Digby Bay portion of the tidal Bay of Fundy and is a fabulous spot for walking, picnicking as well as beachcombing. 
 
Hedley House is conveniently located to many attractions and activities in the region. We are just 8 km / 5 mi to the fishing community of Digby and home of the world famous scallops. The town is central to many activities, including restaurants, shops, historic sites, whale watching, parks, hiking trails and their own local championship golf course.   
 
Our accommodations include 14 ground-level units (rooms with two double beds plus housekeeping, rooms with one queen bed, some with housekeeping), with an ensuite 3- or 4-piece bath, and one family unit with two adjoined rooms, each with a bathroom. All of our rooms have cable television, plates and utensils. We have 3 gas barbeque stations with picnic tables that our guests can use. Wireless Internet is available on our property as well. Some rooms have pull-out sofa beds, and cots are available. 
 
Hedley House offers conference room facilities for 40-50 people and we will cater small private functions; weddings are welcome. Small pets are welcome with prior permission. MasterCard and Visa are accepted. 
 
Cancellation Policy: Must cancel 48 hours prior to day of arrival for a refund of your deposit or to avoid a credit card charge.

We have been hosts at D’s B&B by the sea since August 2015.

 

One hour drive from Moncton, 45 min to the PEI bridge, 90 min to Truro.

It’s a paradise here, so serene and scenic that you can’t help staring at 

the panoramic view. Endlessly walk the beach, feel the sand 

in your toes and breath in the ocean air. The nearby convenience 

store sells gas, groceries, home made bread, beer, wine and more.

Local farmers sell eggs, in season fruit and vegetables, poultry and meats.

You can also buy locally, fresh lobster, shellfish and daily catches.

We are open year round and prefer to honour your reservations.

 

Rates for our summer house rental with ocean view and access

Minimum 3 nights at $700, 7 nights for $1500. Other periods are negotiable.

Our House has 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, deck with BBQ and a view.

Reservations for our house must be made by telephone with a $350 deposit.

 

We rent 1 room for $100 per night, breakfast included, upon availability.

Nous sommes les hôtes du D’s B&B by the Sea depuis août 2015.

 

Une heure en voiture de Moncton, 45 min du pont IPE, 90 min de Truro.

C’est un paradis ici où la nature est sereine. On ne peut pas s’empêcher 

d’admirer la vue panoramique, de respirer l’ai frais, patauger les orteils dans 

le sable en se baladant sur une plage interminable. Le dépanneur du coin 

vend essence, épicerie, du pain maison, de la bière, du vin et +.

On s’approvisionne localement avec oeufs frais, fruits et légumes en saison, 

volaille, viandes, homard, fruits de mer et poissons.

On est ouvert à l’année et nous préférons honorer vos réservations. 

 

Le coût de location de notre maison avec vue et accès à l’océan

pour un minimum de 3 nuits, $700; 7 nuits, $1500.  Autre est négociable.

Notre maison a 3 chambres, le salon, la cuisine, le deck avec BBQ et la vue.

Une réservation pour notre maison doit être faite par téléphone 

avec un versement d’acompte de $350.

 

Une chambre est $100 la nuit, déjeuner compris, selon la disponibilité.

The Captain’s Quarters is a family-run business located in Hunts Point on the South Shore, 11 km west of Liverpool.  Our cottages are situated on 4 acres of oceanfront land on Hunt’s Point Beach in a peaceful and secluded setting away from the main road.  A walk down our lawn brings you right onto the sandy beach.  Take a walk along the beach and explore a quaint fishing harbour or just soak in the view on our oceanfront sun deck.  

Nearby activities and attractions include beaches, swimming, golfing, museums, walking trails, fishing, boating, and diving.   

Our accommodations include 2 cottages with housekeeping facilities (Single, Double, Twin, Queen; 1 and 2 bedroom), with a 4-piece bath, electric heat, cable television, Wifi and covered verandas overlooking the ocean.  Other guest features include an oceanfront sundeck with fireplace; a sandy beach; ocean swimming; and lawn games.  Families are welcome.  

We are pleased to provide our services in English, French and Dutch.

Located on a saltwater inlet on Second Peninsula near UNESCO’s own Lunenburg, the Concept House is a contemporary, award-winning off-grid sustainable retreat, designed by Solterre Design. A network of local craftsmen built this off-grid 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in 2012 that sets a new standard for self-sufficiency and provides a comfortable, open concept and eclectic space to host your vacation and family and friends. Or, the favourite aspect of the house? To simply gazing across the gently sloping pasture to the ocean.

There are many spaces where to relax and enjoy the view -- an outdoor dining patio that seats 10, a firepit and many paths through the 3 Pastures lands to enjoy both waterfronts a wharf and great swimming on Martins Brook and also a sandy beach on Princes Inlet. These shorelines are some of the most idyllic kayaking and sailing waters in the Maritimes. Many islands within the Mahone Bay of islands are public and perfect spots to enjoy a picnic during your kayaking adventures. Biking on Second Peninsula will lead you to Bachman’s Beach, or the opposite direction will be a bike trail directly into Lunenburg for a day of touring, lunching and shopping.

Even though the Concept House is off-grid, it provides typical creature comforts: a tv area, wifi, dishwasher, freezer, clothes washer and two full baths. There is a fully stocked chef’s kitchen with a propane range, stocked provisions in the pantry and a 15-foot long stainless counter.

Our Two Bedroom Chalets are quad occupancy and equipped for up to six guests. They boast the same comforts found in our smaller Single Bedroom units, including full kitchen, bathroom, queen bed and either a double bed or two single beds, and sleeper sofa, and include deck, BBQ & fire pit.

Our Three Bedroom Chalet is quad occupancy and equipped to handle a maximum of eight guests. This luxurious accommodation is designed to be your home away from home, and features a full kitchen and two bathrooms, one king bed, one queen bed, two twin beds as well as pull out sofa, as well as deck, BBQ & fire pit. It is both pet friendly, and wheel chair accessible.

The Rock Maple Retreat features 12 luxurious rooms, with double occupancy equipped for a maximum of four guests each. These rooms include a queen sized bed and pull out sofa, as well as kitchenette (bar fridge, coffee maker, and microwave). Rooms 6 & 11 are both wheel chair accessible and pet friendly. All rooms in the Rock Maple Retreat have BBQ and fire pit access.

Ocean View Motel & Chalets is an oceanfront property situated in the Acadian village of Chéticamp on the famous Cabot Trail on beautiful Cape Breton Island.
Chéticamp provides a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy – unique craft shops, historic sites, whale watching tours, golfing (Le Portgage Golf Club), hiking trails and beaches. Our accommodations include 6 spacious motel rooms (Queen, King) and 12 one-bedroom chalets (Queen, King; 2 with double whirlpool and fireplace); all ground level with a 4-piece bath, satellite television, DVD player and complimentary movies. Guest amenities include free laundry facilities, free wireless Internet access, picnic tables, barbecues and campfires. Reservations are recommended. Visa, MasterCard and Direct Debit are accepted.

Ketchum Cottages offer three period rustic seaside cottages. Each are unique and individually furnished.

They all have large yards, spacious living areas with kitchen and laundry facilities and outstanding ocean views of the Northumberland Strait.
