The Maple Inn is an elegant Victorian mansion (c 1893) situated in the old Town of Parrsboro in the heart of the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark. Our beautifully restored home is two century-old houses joined together furnished with period antiques, offering our guests eight delightful bed and breakfast units and an old-fashioned verandah to relax and enjoy the fresh sea air. We are just a few steps away from the world’s highest tides and The Ship’s Company Theatre.
Enjoy a walk in Parrsboro where you can find unique shops, restaurants and attractions, such as the Fundy Geological Museum and Ottawa House by the Sea Museum. Discover miles of hiking trails, beaches and spectacular scenery along the Fundy Shore. We are also a convenient base for short trips around the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region, such as the Joggins Fossil Cliffs, Anne Murray Centre in Springhill, lighthouse at Cape d'Or and Cape Chignecto Provincial Park.
Our accommodations include 8 guest units (King, Queen, Double, Single): 6 guest rooms with an ensuite 4-piece bath; 2-bedroom guest suite with 2 baths (3-piece with shower and a 4-piece with jacuzzi) and a living room; and a 1-bedroom suite with a 4-piece bath (air-bubble tub). All of our guest units include a flat-screen television, hair dryer and wireless Internet access. A 3-course, chef's choice, hot breakfast is included with your stay.

Easily the most romantic of settings in the inn, is the Dyas Anniversary Suite, named after the original builder of the inn, stonemason Alexander Dyas. He and his wife, Hazel, and his family of 10 children were the first occupants of 17 Western Ave.
The 3-room king suite overlooks the town of Parrsboro and is filled with 250+ year old antique furniture from Austria. The large en suite bath boasts not only a shower, but a large chromotherapy bath too.
From 1947-1975, the Maple Inn served as the South Cumberland Memorial Hospital and the delivery room was the place where many new lives came to be. Overlooking the gardens of the Maple Inn, one can hear the river just beyond the trees.
This cozy room now gives off a charming Canadian farmhouse vibe complete with a comfortable queen bed, fluffy pillows, and surrounded by antique furnishings. The room has an en suite 3-piece bath complete with a rainfall shower head.

In 1934, the newly-formed United Church of Canada sold their Parrsboro parsonage (that is, the East wing of the Maple Inn) to the Tupper/Canning family -- a family that lived here from 1934-1978. Meticulously renovated by the previous owners of the inn, the Tupper / Canning Suite features lovely antique furnishings, a comfy queen bed, a spacious bathroom with an oversized shower, and a fireplace.
The private patio is a perfect place for watching the sunrise over a cup of coffee in the mornings or for enjoying a nightcap before turning in.
Named after the couple who bought the two properties and knit them together to become the Maple Inn, the Boles Suite is named in their honour.
Decked with many french provincial antiques, this cheery room features a large queen bed, a fireplace, and ample room for kicking your feet up and relaxing during your stay.
One of the most unique rooms for its bold, black & white interior design, the Black Velvet Room is a lovely second storey room facing the eastern sky.
The room features a comfortable double wrought-iron bed, antique furniture, a fireplace, and a view overlooking the inn’s front gardens.
This charming double twin room is one of our favourite rooms in the inn. Overlooking both the north garden and the town of Parrsboro, the room is named after Mrs Edith Hatfield, who gifted the home in the mid-1940s to Cumberland County so that the area could have a local & modern hospital.
The only room in the inn without an en-suite bathroom, a private bath is available just a few steps down the hall.
One of our two double-twin rooms is the Sunrise Suite. A cozy room overlooking the front gardens, the room captures the first rays of daylight as the sun peeks over the horizon.
Steps from the sun room and the Maple Inn Cafe, the room features elegant antique furniture as well as a small fireplace that can warm you up on chilly maritime mornings.
