Overview
Suite Spot is a one bedroom and light filled apartment on the lower level of our home that is right in Mahone Bay, 270 meters from Main Street. Available to book HERE on AirBnB.
Enjoy the convenience of being steps from all of the amenities in town. You are a short walk to the grocery store and local restaurants. And you are only a few minutes to great coffee and treats at the 'Barn' or a relaxing beer at the Salt Box Brewery (no need to drive!).
Suite Spot is ideally situated and fully equipped to ensure a spot-on holiday.
We are in the heart of Mahone Bay, right behind the famous three churches. All local amenities are within a very short walking distance from Suite Spot.
The closest grocery store/bakery is Joanne's (2 minute walk) - desserts and pies galore. For coffee, walk to Tim Horton's (2 minute walk) or the Barn (5 minute walk) which is a local favourite. For a cold beer, head straight to the Salt Box (6-7 minute walk) - no need to drive anywhere once you are here.
You have access to the entire one bedroom apartment and the pathway and sitting area at the front of the house. The BBQ is also yours to use (near the sitting area) should you wish to do so.
There is also a dedicated parking space for 1 car directly adjacent to the apartment.
And you can see the spires of Mahone Bay's famous three churches as the property sits directly behind them. Should you wish, there is a cut through path across the road that takes you directly into the parking lot of one of the churches and directly across the street from our beautiful waterfront.
There are 2 adirondack chairs out front as well as a BBQ for your personal use. We are also happy to provide the propane if you are there for one week or less.
The area outside the main door of the apartment is newly landscaped (2022) with beautiful plantings along our large rock wall, in front of the house, and beside the house near the parking pad (2023). There are also massive trawler tubs on either side of the main door of the apartment that are planted each spring with gorgeous flower arrangements for the summer. We are working to attract hummingbirds and butterflies and are having great success. The garden is there for your enjoyment! We will add a new garden bed in the spring of 2024. Stay tuned for updated photos!
Should you wish to head to one of our local beaches, we provide the beach towels too (beach chairs can be provided upon request).

Suite Spot is a 533 square foot apartment and was fully renovated and redecorated in 2022. There is one large bedroom with a Queen bed (new Sealy mattress), a living room/kitchen area and a private bathroom with a new shower stall, vanity/sink and toilet. The flooring is newly installed and the entire unit is newly painted in beautiful contemporary colours. We hope you enjoy the transformation as much as we do.
To ensure your comfort and help the environment too, there is a newly installed heat pump air conditioning unit. We have also installed new room darkening shades on all of our large, light filled windows (also brand new!) to help you have a great sleep.
We have a fully equipped kitchen that includes an oven, microwave and a new standard size LG fridge/freezer. Enjoy morning coffee with a new Keurig coffee machine. There is also a toaster, kettle, dishes, cutlery, cooking and BBQ utensils, pots and pans and most items you will need to cook and to store your food. And we also provide some basic food items such as coffee, sugar, oils, salt and pepper, etc..
A new and environmentally friendly Miele washer and heat pump dryer are also newly installed for your personal use. Laundry detergent is provided for shorter stays (one week or less).
The bedroom has a lovely sitting area with a dedicated light to read a book. Climb into our Queen size bed with a new Sealy mattress, complete with luxury linens and comfy pillows. There is a small storage closet for your clothes as well as a double dresser. And an ironing board, an iron and a drying rack are also available for your use. We have a fiberoptic line to support the free WiFi in the apartment. Our brand new Smart TV in the living room is equipped with more channels than you will need for a movie night, including Netflix, Roku, Disney, Amazon Prime and many more. There is also a small collection of novels in the apartment as well as a deck of cards for your enjoyment.
