We are the perfect vacation-by-the-sea! Red Mahone is a registered Mahone Bay Heritage Property bordering on two centuries old and was first inhabited by a Master Mariner and his wife Maggie. This stunningly beautiful home is situated in the heart of Mahone Bay and is one of Main Street's largest and proudest properties including landscaped flowering gardens and an adjoining apple orchard.

Maggie

The original home owner was a Master Mariner, and named his brig "Maggie" after his wife. Bright and airy in style, with original wide plank floors, this room includes a King size bed tucked away into a large bay window. The en-suite bathroom has a combined tub and shower, and your travelling clothes can be stored in an antique wardrobe. Located on the second floor, this charming space overlooks the towering Canadian Maple trees in the front yard.

John Henry

This second floor room is named after the schooner "John Henry", built in 1830 for the first home owner. Rustic in character with original wide plank floors, it features a King size bed, its own antique wardrobe, and a large modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Guests can enjoy the morning sunrise through the east facing window, and sip on an evening glass of wine at the cozy table and chairs.
